SACRAMENTO - Sacramento State will be the first university to have a university-backed combat sports development program, the university and UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber announced on Thursday.
The Start Smart Sports Development Program, created by the National Alliance for Youth Sports, was developed to help kids build motor skills and self-confidence before entering organized team sports.
